The Cove at Lake Harding consists of 58 lots. There are 39 water lots consisting of: spring, creek, branch, lake and river lots. The remaining lots are interior lots or lots adjoining Lick Skillet or Sturges Roads. Our neighborhood is a great, safe place to raise a family, enjoy nature, and meet good folks. Not to mention, we are close to some of the best restaurants around! The Cove at Lake Harding has a 12 acre community owned park. A home owners association, The Cove at Lake Harding Property Owners Association, Inc., owns the park. The Common Area 'A' consists of 5.26 acres. Access to a 4.6 acre lake for fishing and boating is available to all lot owners. There is a playground in the east side of the park as well as picnic tables with BBQ grills. Starting at the private lake there is a 200' walking trail following a beautiful creek to the river; it is lighted for night use. Common Area 'B' consists of 5.43 acres. A boat launch with a boat dock 6' x 30', a board walk 6' x 90', a 1200 sq. ft. clubhouse with a bathroom and a picnic area with BBQ grills are part of this park.
The park is adjacent to the Chattahoochee River on Lake Harding. The Lake is owned and managed by Georgia Power Company. The Association has an access lease to use the ramp, boat dock, and river for recreation. There are 5850 acres and 156 miles of shoreline on Bartlett's Ferry Development (Lake Harding). There is parking for approximately 40 vehicles at the marina. The community has underground utilities. The roads, playground, marina, and walking trails are lighted. The purpose of the architectural control committee is to assure the the installation, construction, or alteration of any structure on any lot is in accordance with the standards determined by the Control Committee.
